If the web viewing is not displaying correctly or is stuck on a gray screen with no loading, this issue could be related to browser settings / compatibility.

Steps to Troubleshoot

  1. Collect Browser Information

    • Identify the browser used (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).

    • Note the browser version.

    • If using Google Chrome, open 'Developer Tools' to check for console errors:

      • For Windows: Press Ctrl + Shift + J.

      • For Mac: Press Option + ⌘ + J.

  2. Reboot the Browser

    • If the app remains stuck, reboot the browser and attempt to load the page again.

  3. Validate Hardware Acceleration Setting

    • Ensure that Hardware Acceleration is enabled. In Google Chrome, you can do this by:

      • Going to chrome://settings.

      • Scrolling down to the System section.

      • Ensuring that "Use hardware acceleration when available" is toggled on.

 

Hardware acceleration helps enhance performance by offloading graphics rendering to GPU. If disabled, it might cause issues with loading certain web-based applications.
